Rising seas threaten $8b of infrastructure – report

Rising seas are threatening $8 billion worth of New Zealand’s roads, pipes, and other infrastructure. That’s according to a new report measuring the impact of a 1.5m rise in sea levels. Local Government New Zealand is proposing a fund be set up so local and central government can help communities prepare.
