Moose
Follow the fortunes of five hand-reared baby moose over their precarious first year of life.
The moose is the largest deer on planet earth. Standing two metres high and weighing more than one thousand pounds, adult moose have few predators in the wild. But as the staff at St Felicien Zoo know only too well–a baby moose is a very different story.
Mush is just one of five baby moose to come into the clinic this season. Weak and premature, she would not have survived without the love and care of human beings. Moose are hard to keep alive in captivity and the park has lost babies in previous seasons, but this year, they’re hoping everyone will pull through……. Its hard growing up without a mom–but St Felicien Zoo is leading the way, in giving vulnerable babies a brand new start in life.
