Dear Subscriber,

Today we discovered that a large number of the calendars shipped with the January/February issue had a binding fault that resulted in loose pages. New Zealand Geographic takes pride in our production standards and this is an unsatisfactory outcome.

We will be re-printing the calendar as soon as possible and sending it to the shipping address next week. It will arrive before it is needed in the new year, though probably not before Christmas.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused during this gifting season and are working with our printer to make sure this doesn't happen again. We trust you enjoy the new issue in the meantime—we're very proud of it.
