Why did a dozen sperm whales wash up in South Taranaki?

Why a dozen sperm whales washed up ashore a South Taranaki beach still remains a mystery to the Department of Conservation and local iwi. Ngati Tu hapu member Bonita Bigham told our reporter Jessie Chiang the number of the stranded whales is unprecedented. Marine Adviser Dave Lundquist discusses the details with Susie Ferguson.
