Around 2,000 people turned out in Christchurch over the wekeend to protest Environment Canterbury’s decision to grant permits to extract and sell more than 1.5 billion litres of water a year from two bores. Aotearoa Water Action spokesperson Peter Richardson was one of them, and joins us to outline the issues he sees with the decision.
