Alzheimer’s is like having holes in the roof our our brains according to neurologist Dr Dale Bredesen, one of the world’s leading experts on cognitive diseases. But Dr Bredesen says his research at the University of California in LA shows the holes can be repaired through individualized treatment that includes lifestyle changes, diet and brain stimulation. Some of his patients not only slowed the progress of the disease, some of their brain function was restored. He explains is breakthrough work in a new book boldly titled The End of Alzheimer’s: The First Program to Prevent and Reverse Cognitive Decline.
