Taupo pipe burst could take months to be permanently fixed

Taupō residents will have to restrict their water use for up to five days as the town copes with yesterday’s sewage spill. The Taupō District Council’s chief executive, Gareth Green, told our reporter Andrew McRae that it could take weeks or months to get a long-term solution in place.
