Skraark! Kakapo population cracks 200

The critically endangered Kakapo have reached a big milestone, with their population now totalling 200. When kakapo chicks turn 150 days old they become juveniles and are officially counted as part of the population – which Esperance-3B19 did yesterday. Deidre Vercoe is the operations manager of DOC’s Kakapo Recovery Team, she spoke to Corin Dann.
