Managing kauri dieback disease

Kauri dieback is a serious disease that kills kauri trees. It’s decimating kauri forests in northern New Zealand, and is particularly severe in the popular Waitakere Ranges in west Auckland. The public is once again being called upon to help fight the spread of the disease, and getting those messages out is the task of Nick Waipara, principal advisor for biosecurity for Auckland Council.
