Fully renewable electricity by 2035 too expensive

The Government is about to find out that its plan for 100 percent renewable electricity by 2035 is prohibitively expensive. The pledge is part of Labour’s confidence and supply agreement with the Greens. But the group set up to analyse it, the Interim Climate Change Committee, has dissected the policy and does not like what is sees. Eric Frykberg joins Philippa Tolley in the studio with the details.
