Dave Lowe has been warning about the impact of rapid climate change for over 40 years. Both a scientist and a surfer he began to see changes the environment of the southern hemisphere in the 1970s and has been calling for awareness and action ever since. He’s written about his career as a scientist and an environmentalist in a new memoir The Alarmist: Fifty Years Measuring Climate Change published by Victoria University Press.
