Christchurch trees urgently checked after injury

Christchurch City Council is urgently checking trees around a popular tourist area after falling branches seriously injured a man yesterday. Two limbs snapped off a pin oak on Rolleston Avenue, beside the Canterbury Museum, just outside the Botanic Gardens, injuring two people below. Andrew Rutledge is Christchurch City Council’s Head of Parks. He talks to Susie Ferguson.
